Thailand e-Visa Gets Major Update: New Payment Channels + Increased Visa Fees (Effective Sept 2025)Introduction




The Royal Thai Embassy has announced important changes to the Thailand e-Visa process for Bangladeshi travelers. Effective 1 September 2025, there are new online payment channels and updated visa fees. These changes aim to simplify payments while reflecting currency updates and service costs.

From September 1, 2025, applicants can pay their Thailand e-Visa fees online using the following banks:

  • Commercial Bank of Ceylon: Pay Now
  • Eastern Bank Limited (EBL): Pay Now

Important: Payments must be completed through the official bank portals. Cash or partial payments are not accepted. After payment, applicants should upload the Payment Info Summary (PIS) to the e-Visa platform for verification.Updated Thailand e-Visa Fees (From Sept 2025)

Note: Fees are revised due to currency adjustments. For long-term and special visas, please check the official Embassy website.

How to Apply for Thailand e-Visa

  1. Visit the official Thailand e-Visa portal.
  2. Fill out the online application form.
  3. Complete payment via the new online banking channels above.
  4. Upload the Payment Info Summary (PIS) page for verification.
  5. Receive your e-Visa approval via email.

Tips for Bangladeshi Travelers

  • Always use the official e-Visa website to avoid scams.
  • Prepare a clear passport scan and travel documents.
  • Submit your application well before your travel date to avoid delays.
  • Keep a copy of the payment receipt for reference.
